My name is Ed and I love teaching! My main areas of expertise are American, European and World history and geography. I am a Florida certified educator and have taught social studies and religion in two South Florida Catholic schools. I am passionate about teaching and always strive for my students to reach their full potential. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Since I was in 6th grade I have loved social studies; it always attracted me and I finally decided to become a teacher. I love history: American, world, European, geography and civics/government. I love to teach students how history is important for them and why they should know where they come from. History affects our daily lives; current events are the art of stay informed of what is going on and understand the world we are living in. I am a Florida certified educator certified in Social Studies 6-12 and 5-9. I have worked in two middle schools: St Francis Xavier and Corpus Christi, both in Miami, FL. Teaching social studies is my life and my calling; I welcome the opportunity of tutoring students in the social studies field- it would be my pleasure.

I am certified to teach Religion in Catholic Schools by the Archdiocese of Miami. My level of certification is Level 2. Some of the courses taken:Teaching Religion Today, part 1; Foundations of Catholicism; The Church After Vatican II, The Bible and Jesus of Nazareth and His Message. (Total credit/hours: 45.) I taught Religion to the middle school students in St. Francis Xavier Catholic School (Overtown, Miami, FL) and also the middle school students in Corpus Christi Catholic School, Allapattah, Miami, FL. I would love to have the opportunity to teach religion because I believe as a Catholic and I Christian it is one's duty to spread and communicate the Word of the Lord to as many people as possible. And I would love to teach and share my knowledge with the students.
