I have worked as a tutor for disabled student services at a community college since 1995, and earned an Associates of Arts degree in 1997. I have worked with students with many different learning styles, backgrounds, and levels of achievement. I am a tutor because I love helping others, and am known for my patience, ability to explain a concept in several different ways, and enthusiasm for learning. I can help with almost any course, including basic math, biology, chemistry, anatomy & physiology, writing essays or research papers, and test preparation. I can also help you to discover and develop study skills based on your individual learning style. 

I am available to meet with students either in person or online. To meet with me online, there are a variety of instant messaging applications that can be used, including those with voice and video capabilities. I also have a whiteboard application on my website that has a math equation editor, which makes it much easier to type with math symbols. We can also use the whiteboard to draw or write. 

I am always open for questions by email. Send me an email with what you are stuck on and I will get back to you within 24 hours (usually less 12). I do not charge for emails, so let me know what's going on with your assignment and we'll take it from there. I might be able to answer your question or point you in the right direction by email, or we might want to use an instant messaging program or whiteboard. 

It's up to you take the first step and contact me. I can only help, and you have nothing to lose by asking a question or asking for advice. College can be overwhelming at times, but it doesn't have to be.
