 I graduated from InterAmerican University of PR with a bachellor's (BA) in Accounting and Economics. I continued at the same university to earn my Masters's (MBA) with a concentration in Accounting. I have taught accounting courses at the bachelors level for over eight years at two different colleges. My teaching experience is in basic accounting, financial accounting and managerial accounting. I was a full time professor at these two colleges. I taught as an adjunct before becoming a full time professor. I am bi-lingual so I can teach it in English or in Spanish. I tutored students during my office hours at these two colleges and I have been tutoring independently for the past year on a one to one basis. I have worked as an accountant for several small to mid-size corporations. My experience as an accountant has been in the construction field, the government field and small corporations such as roofing installation and air & heating installation where I had the positions of Chief Accountant, Accounting Manager or as a Staff accountant. I was involved in the complete accounting cycle. I therefore have the experience working as an accountant as well as teaching accounting as a professor. I am very easy going and I will be able to help you understand accounting in very simple terms. I have always treated my students with the upmost respect. I have the patience to help you understand and comprehend the accounting cycle. I will guide you through the whole process and help you with any homework assignments. My philosophy is that anyone can master accounting if they are willing to put some time to read and pratice.
