Does your child have a hard time keeping their attention on schoolwork? Do they not yet understand how to manage their workload by themselves? If so, tutoring may be a valuable tool to help get them academically back on track.
As a tutor it is my primary goal to teach my pupils the value of planning and time management. Many hardworking young students struggle because they don't have control of their deadlines and due dates, and end up having to do everything at the last minute. These habits are perfectly natural, but lead to periods of high stress and sloppy work.
I have been tutoring a small number of students for two years since graduating from university; I keep few pupils so that I can keep up with all of their personal needs and schedules. I recently relocated to San Diego, and am looking forward to helping some bright young students get control of their academic lives.
