I am an auditor by profession and have 24 years of federal service. In addition to my financial/analytical skills, I'm the designated report writer in my office which means I have a good grasp of grammar/English/writing and communication skills. One of my best qualities is my perseverance. Without it, one cannot accomplish anything to a significant level. I will work even harder for you to learn than I do for myself. The key to learning is finding out HOW an individual learns. We all process information in different ways, my 1st job being to find out how the student takes and retains information. Giving 110% is part of my personality. My self taught skills include Feng Shui, Perennial Gardening, Pilates, and, most recently, I decided to teach myself how to sell on EBAY. (Some skills have a larger learning curve than others, take my word for it! Another of my favorite phrases is: "This isn't impossible, just difficult.") To make a long story short, I feel I would make an excellent tutor to anyone who has the DESIRE to improve their skills in: writing or any type of verbal communication, reading, proofreading, computer skills such as learning how to use Microsoft Word or Microsoft EXCEL, and my specialty, teaching one how to navigate the World Wide Web and EBAY selling/buying. The internet can be a wonderful tool if you know how to use it. I can find just about any information I want on the internet and I can teach you how to, too! I can help you learn how to express yourself, verbally, which includes creative writing, one of the most satisfying and valuable skills one can possess.
