My goal with a student is to guide him/her to an understanding for solving a problem or answering a question. i.e. Teach a person to catch a fish, rather than give them a fish.
My training is in synthetic organic chemistry I have an incisive mind and a broad approach to problem-solving. The student is best served who learns how to obtain answers versus memorizing answers provided by the tutor.
