I have been math teacher for 7+ years. It has been a perfect way to support myself by doing something I love. Teaching and helping another person evolve and realize their potential is undoubtedly one of the most noble things anyone can do. I have many students that can testify to my proficiency with respect to subject matter and the intensity as to which I deliver a lesson. At times I can be a tough mentor, but this is only because I EXPECT my students to learn and understand their INNATE ability to grasp what is being conveyed although there are numerous learning styles. This is a necessary component of character for a teacher. It supplies patience and passion to get the job done. I've tutored students from kindegarten through graduate school. Once I had thirty students in an afterschool program (5-15 yrs old) that were fighting teachers and each other physically and verbally.
