My tutoring style is to aquire prior knowledge of the subject matter from the student. A few simple questions about the subject matter can be very helpfull to the tutor. I posses a firm grip of teacher methodologies;e.g., well-developed skills in the areas of indentifying specific learning problems and recommending approved courses of action. I posses a B.A in elementary education and a M.A.in special education. I recently retired from the Washington School District in June, 2008.I am a higly qualified; certified Arizona teacher. I started teaching in 1980, and worked for the New York City Board of Education, New York.
