I come from a long line of teachers. Since I got a Bachelors of Arts in Education over 40 years ago, I have been teaching classes, small groups and individuals from preschool to senior citizens. My most recent experience has been tutoring ESL and beginning Spanish but I have also taught almost anything you can learn sitting at a desk, except advanced science and math. I like to help students build on what they already know, tying in the things that interest them to make any subject more alive and relevant. I can adjust curriculum and teaching styles to the needs and preferences of the student(s). My main goal in tutoring is to help students learn in a way that makes learning fun.
