Martha Silk: I have been tutoring LD, Non-verbal LD and ADHD students for 13 years. My tutoring style is one on one using a multi-sensory approach. I use Brain Gym for directionality which improves the L and R confusion of dyslexia(reading and spelling) and dysgraphia (printing and cursive skills), Lindamood-Bell phonemic awareness program, Stevenson, Orton Gillingham, and Phonographix for improving decoding and encoding skills (reading and spelling abilities), Visualizing and Verbalizing for improving reading and language comprehension, Touch Point Math and On Cloud Nine Math for math comprehension and calculating skills (dyscalculia) and the writing process with grammar skills.
