After years of classroom teaching in the elementary grades, I have had a burden for those students who are struggling. Many of these students aren't able to get the extra help they need at school. That is why I enjoy tutoring one on one. It is a great opportunity to help students improve their academic skills quickly. Since each student is unique, I spend time assessing their skills and then provide instruction in their areas of weakness. I use a variety of methods and materials to keep the sessions stimulating and enjoyable. It gives me great pleasure to see the progress that each student makes!
