I believe in making a subject relevant.
The typical tutoring style thats o many are sticklers for; leading a child to find an answer for themselves, leads to frustration between teh student and teacher and tutor and ultimatly loss of interest . Granted many just want an answer but if you are creative you allow them to dicover teh answer rather than push the issue.
Providing the needed tools for future success is my natural teaching/tutoring style. By making a problem relevent you can keep a student interested in learning and solving problems that otherwise would have been frustrating.
