Hello Prospective Client:

This detailed email will attempt to answer some of your questions regarding my services. My services include tutoring, homework help, examination study, computer programming, term & research paper assistance, editing, resume & cover letters, business and marketing plans, essay writing services, language translations, thesis & dissertation help, and more. Note that these are just a few of the many topics I and my staff can handle.  Please take your time and read this letter thoroughly. A little about me: I am currently a retired college professor and have taught for the past 25 years in high school, college, university, test prep organizations, and corporate settings. I can teach / tutor most subjects for all levels from grades 1 to 12 & from undergraduate college to graduate school level. I also can tutor in just about any specialized test as well.

If you email or call me, you will get a fast response back from me. You can contact me anytime and I will assist you. Service and expertise in the subject area is what sets my services apart from other tutoring services. For example, I have scored 95% or better on all math and science sections of any test & 90% or better on any non-math section (verbal, critical reading, logic games, etc).  I have a BS, CPA, MS, and PhD. I am licensed by the NYS Department of Education as a certified teacher.

I am located in the United States (Long Island, NY), not in some foreign country thousands of miles away where English is not the main language. Other tutoring services provide an email address only and are located in a foreign country where it is difficult to comprehend what they are saying. Worse yet, when you get back your work from these foreign services, it is of substandard quality because of their language barrier / writing skills. Since they do not have a good command of the English language, they cannot properly understand your work and thus it gets done incorrectly. Most of these services do not provide a telephone number or if they do, it is a transfer number being answered in India or the Philippines.

Even if you already have a tutor, my services might be better and possibly cheaper in price. It does not hurt to look around. You never know if there are better tutors out there.

FOR EMAIL, PHONE, DRAWINGBOARD, WEB CAMERA, FAX, or CHAT ONLINE TUTORING:  I or my staff can tutor you via email, phone, live on-screen drawing board, web camera, or via online chat. No need to ever see you in person at all.  With chat and phone tutoring, we work via writing and speaking back and forth until you understand the problem. With on-screen drawing board, I can see what you draw on your screen and you can see what I draw on my screen in real time. If tutoring is done by email, you would send me the problems.  I would work them out with full explanations, and then email them back to you. I would charge you a flat fee based upon the type of problems you need help with and how fast you need them back.  You can also call me on the phone if you need further explanation. Email me your problems for a free price quote. I first need to see the type of problems before I can give you a quote because easy problems are less expensive than difficult ones.  If I cannot do it then I have a small database of tutors and writers that can handle any type of problem that you send me. Not only can my team handle problems and assignments, but we can also write term papers and research papers on any topic you desire. No matter where you live, these methods work great. If you never used this method before, give it a try, you never know how it might work out.

FOR IN PERSON TUTORING (NY/NJ/CT AREA): I or my staff can tutor you in person anywhere you choose within the Tri-State Area. The rate is cheaper if you travel to the tutor because the tutor is not wasting any transportation time and expense. My office is located in Long Island, NY (Suffolk County) but my tutors are located through the tri-state area. The rates vary according to what subject / level of difficulty you require. Rates start at $25 per academic hour for low level subjects (up to 6^th grade) and the rate increases for higher grades and harder subjects. In addition, the rate is higher if we come to your location (please indicate location if you want a tutor to come to you).  Rates are negotiable based upon the number of hours per session, time of day, how far in advance you book the session, how busy the tutors are, etc. If you call and request tutoring on that same day, the rate will be much higher than if you could wait to schedule the tutoring at a later time. If you are going to hire a tutor for multiple hours, the rate will be discounted. We will always try to work within your budget.

GENERAL INFO: Send me a detailed email explaining what you need help in. Give me an idea of your spending budget and your deadline due date or time frame. The rates vary most of the time depending on a tutor’s workload for the week. If you are flexible, so are we. We are also negotiable and will try to work out a price that is fair for you.  Once you email me back the details, I will look it over and email you back or call you, so please include a telephone number where you can be reached. PAYMENT: I accept various forms of payment including Cash, Western Union, Money Gram, Postal Money Order, Personal Check, Bank Check, Cashier’s Check, Wire Transfer, Direct Deposit, and PayPal. However, if paying by check, we will wait for it to clear before beginning any work. If paying via PayPal, please set up your PayPal account since it sometimes takes a few days for the account to be established. For in person tutoring, only cash will be accepted.
