Employed by General Electric as Heat Transfer Design Engineer 1971-1975.  Graduate of the Rochester Institure of Technology with bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, June, 1971.  Completed GE's in-house MBA Program graduating #1 in class. Simultaneously, completed 70% of Operations Management (Statisitics) Masters program at Union College, Schenectady, New York.

Left Industry for Wall St. in 1975.  Founded Investment Banking / Merchant banking firm in 1981. Orchestrated several IPOs, including Pointe Financial (Boca Raton headquarted commercial bank), where I became Chairman of the Board of the company's primary operating division, Pointe Bank.  Orchestrated the sale of the bank in 2005 (2 years prior to the financial meltdown) at valuation which gave IPO investors Return on Investment of 16.25% per annum.  Took Security Alarm Company public in 2003, becoming Chairman and CEO.  Built the company from $35 million in annual sales to $100 million in three years.  Raised and delpoyed in excess of $1 billion in financing associated with Security Alarm Industry.  Spoke as keynote speaker at numerous industry conferences.

Served as Vice Chairman of the New York Racing Association (operator of Aqueduct, Belmont and Saratoga)  from 1995 through 2007.  Negotiated extension of racing franchise with New York State Legislature.

Served on numerous charitable boards, inlcuding St. Mary's Hospital of Troy, New York.  Served from 1970 to 1976 in United States Army Reserves, honorably discharged in 1976.

Personal interests include golf, skiing, cooking, travel, reading, economics and politics.

My interest in tutoring is to convey the accumulation of 40 years of knowledge and experience to young adults.  Pricing of the service is dependent on the student's ability to pay, the complexity of the subject matter, the distance associated with travel (if any), and the student's committment to the learning process.
