It's always been my passion to help others achieve their best.  I feel a sense of accomplishment in being able to help someone succeed.  Being the oldest sibling in the house, I have helped my siblings and also many family friends with school problems they encounter.  I believe each student has a different style of learning.  Some may be more visual, whereas others may just have to hear the information repeatedly.  Still, others may have a hands-on style of learning.  If I were to tutor someone I would recognize their abilities and needs and adjust my teaching method to correlate with them.

I graduated high school in the top 5% of my class, ranked 26 out of 552.  I consider studies very important and would love to help others achieve success.  In today's society, getting a high level of education is becoming more and more important.  I understand that everyone encounters a weakness in one subject or another in some part of their educational career.  However, it is very important that a person overcomes the obstacle and is able to move on.  I've always felt accomplished in helping others reach their goals and overcoming their obstacles and that is why i'd like to tutor.

Furthermore, I think that learning should be a fun experience, not something we are just forced to do.  I've had the pleasure of having great teachers that have made learning fun for me, and now I am actually very interested in a lot of subjects such as chemistry, biology, and history, because of the fun teaching methods my teachers used.  If I were to tutor someone I'd do my best to spark their interest so that learning becomes more of a pleasure than burden. 

Overall, my personality and academic abilities will allow me to be a great tutor if given the oppurtunity :)
