As a college and graduate student, I financed myself through private tutoring, and therefore have many years of experience.

I have learned that communication is the most important skill in this field. The real challenge was always getting the student to understand complicated points in a conceptual manner that is adapted to each individual’s unique way of thinking.

I have extensive experience in preparing material for students to learn from, and over the years have compiled several hundred pages of personal notes on problems and problem solving techniques in the areas I teach.
