I've tutored through Academic Advantage for 2 school years, and a few private clients. My first year I tutored two students in the southern Orange County area.One of the students I tutored was an 11th grade B student in Honors Physics. The other student was a 9th grade C student in Algebra. By their next exams, I had both of them up to an A in their subjects. Last year I had students in Algebra who saw drastic 
improvements in their grades, and a couple students in Pre-Calc. One of the Pre-Calc students let me know that she got an A on the 
final and an A- in the class.  One of my algebra students got A's on her remaining exams, and got a B+ in her class.  She's continuing with me this year for Geometry.  I have a couple of Geometry students this year, and a student in SAT math.  All of them seem to be grasping the material quite quickly once I explain it.

I work part time as a biller in the USC Psychiatry department, so my schedule is pretty flexible.  I prefer afternoons and weekends though.  I love math, and I love teaching it.  I don't do the work for the student, but guide them through steps of similar problems until they are solving them on their own.
