   In the past I have worked as a classroom teacher instructing students in the sixth grade. I also taught on the second grade level  After three school years of classroom teaching I worked as a special education supports coordinator.  I really enjoyed working in these educational settings and I continue to work in the field of education.  As an experienced teacher, my turoring style is tailored to fit the needs of the student.  I use several different forms of assessment to find out the student's learning style and tailor sessions to meet the individuals needs. I am familiar with working with students on various academic levels since my teaching experience has been with primary grades up to high school and adults learners.  I have a masters' degress plus 15 credits of study in the education discipline.

    I am a pofessional and take my work serious. I am happy to review my credentials, both educational and legal to varify my ability to effectively tutor students.  I am able to tutor ina  variety of setting which include home, library, religious buildings and other community settings.  I believe that to see improvement both parties need to be commited. I keep my appointments and request that the families that I serve keep appointmets as well.  My hours a flexible to accomodate routine schedules as well as special occassions and holidays. Once I develope a plan for supporting a student, I use periodic assessments and students and family feedback to help drive the futrue instruction sessions.
