My name is David and I recently graduated from Columbia University majoring in Electrical Engineering and Physics with a minor in Mathematics. I currently work at an Engineering Firm in northern Jersey, but I grew up in New York City. I have been tutoring since college and feel rewarded whenever I can help a student succeed in their classes.

In high school I played Varsity Tennis, playing 1st singles and I highly encourage students to play sports along with studying. I believe physical activity along with mental studies greatly balance each other. I've also picked up playing Ultimate Frisbee and definitely enjoy playing Frisbee whenever I can.

I mainly tutor for the SAT Math. I work with a set of 30 or so strategies that have been proven and can solve every single SAT Math question on the test. I work with a SAT tutoring center which teaches these same strategies. I use the College Board SAT text book and I will provide sample problems and explain the strategies to ensure the student has a strong understanding of the material. When the student has difficulty with a specific strategy or specific topic, I am able to pull up an array of different questions all relating to that topic within the College Board book because I have done every single question in the book and have marked topics to each question.
