I teach business law and ethics at the university level, and tutor GMAT and LSAT part time. (I also practice law, but I most enjoy teaching!) I have an MBA from Columbia Business School, a JD from Columbia Law School, and a BS in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University. I achieved scores in the 99th percentile on both the GMAT (760) and the LSAT (171).

My style is relaxed and laid back. I try to make learning fun, and help you see the big picture. It is important to understand the fundamentals of what is being tested, so we will first go through a basic understanding of the various subjects on the exam.  At the same time, the difference between a mediocre and high score often lies in the ability to tackle questions quickly and efficiently. We will practice employing stategies to do this effectively. Most importantly, I will tailor the tutoring to your individual needs. Together, we will assess your strengths and weaknesses, and then work on improving your weaker areas and sharpening your stronger areas.

I really enjoy teaching and love to help students get over the hurdles in their studying. I can also help with admissions essays. My basic rate is 100 per hour, but I offer packages that can bring the hourly rate down as low as 75 per hour. Specifically, rates are as follows:

Basic - 100 per hour

Package of 6 hours (2 sessions) - 90 per hour; 80 for each additional hour thereafter

Package of 15 hours (5 sessions) - 80 per hour; 75 for each additional hour thereafter

Package of 21 hours (7 sessions) - 75 per hour
