I have a passion for language, culture and most of all: the written word. I am honored to instill this passion and knowledge in my students. My main focus is helping the South Florida population better their knowledge and command of the English language through English as a Second Language courses. I speak Spanish fluently, but also have a full command and education of the English language, making it possible to teach the most basic of English skills to the far advanced. I am also able to relate to students on a personal level.

Each of my lessons is individually prepared for the specific needs of the student – whether it is for pleasure, business or survival skills. I enjoy working with students of all ages and the lessons can be prepared accordingly.

I also assist with ACT/SAT/GED preparation (English and reading comprehension only for test preparation), intensive reading, creative writing, grammar and vocabulary.

I have a fun nature, which makes working with students of any age a breeze. Due to my background in English, I can combine my fun-loving nature to make reading, writing and literature interesting for young children.

I am most experienced in helping children in a Spanish-speaking household learn to command English as a native, giving them a better chance for pure fluency in both languages as an adult.

I also work with English reading comprehension, creative writing and vocabulary for English-speaking children. I have an immense love of reading, being a self proclaimed bookworm, and have a knack for rubbing it off on my students!
