I am a junior at the University of Missouri and have obtained a 3.85 gpa so far. Although my emphasis areas are history, spanish, and writing, I am a capable tutor in many subjects! After graduation, I plan to work towards my masters in education and work as a teacher in an elementary school. I am a very friendly and easy going person and I will provide a comfortable learning environment for your child. For the past couple years I have worked as an assistant at an elementary school and at school summer camps. I am used to the classroom environment and know how to handle myself with students of all ages. I am very flexible and will adjust times and lessons to fit your child specifically! I also have experience in the work world having had internships in both law and journalism, specifically at the Columbia Missourian. I have also worked as a waitress and in retail and know the importance of customer service. I will work professionally with both you and your child, will arrive on time, and will be prepared for lessons. I am a very involved student on the University of Missouri campus, involved in environmental groups, journalism student council, a spanish honors society, and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. I have served numerous leadership positions throughout both high school and college and have also been very active in community service. I have my own transportation and, being a college student, a very flexible schedule and will be able to accomodate tutoring sessions whenever need be.
