Hi! I am currently a graduate student receiving my masters in Childhood Education 1-6 and Special Education at St. John's University. I received my undergraduate degree in speech pathology and audiology at the University at Buffalo. I speak Spanish proficiently as well. I am currently a substitute teacher (grades k-8) for general education, special education and physical education. I will be starting my student teaching in the fall. I also have been an assistant teacher at a Montessori school in Buffalo for a year.

I love to teach and share my knowledge with others. I am willing to tutor groups and individuals and I feel extremely confident tutoring in all elementary subjects. I have various tutoring experience with different types of students. I am very reliable, patient and easy to get along with. I’m willing to be flexible in many aspects to help with your specific needs. I believe that children learn best when lessons and materials are hands on and involve the child. I like to work with my students weaknesses and focus on how to improve them. I learn what they already know and review it so we can move on to the next step. I like to use an individualized learning approach, focusing on each student's needs. My main focus is to work with each student to reach their academic potential. I want them to feel pride in the work and the be proud of themselves. My goal is to leave the students feeling confident and well prepared.
